Department of Technical Affairs

The Department of Technical Affairs serves as the primary technical unit responsible for managing the municipality's infrastructure, superstructure, urban transformation, environmental landscaping, and building inspection processes.

Core Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

• Zoning and Planning: Preparation and implementation of zoning plans, as well as the execution of project and mapping operations.

• Building Inspection and Permitting: Issuance of building permits and occupancy permits; monitoring construction processes for regulatory compliance.

• Infrastructure and Transportation: Construction of roads, streets, boulevards, and sidewalks; road paving; construction of parking facilities; and the management of traffic signs, markings, and signalization systems.

• Sewage and Environment: Development of sewage networks and wastewater treatment; implementation of air pollution control measures.
