Directorate of Editorial Affairs

The Directorate of Editorial Affairs is responsible for providing secretariat services for the Municipal Council and the Municipal Executive Committee, ensuring that resolutions are formally recorded and disseminated, and managing the official correspondence flow within the municipality.

Core Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

  • Secretariat of Decision-Making Bodies: Preparing agendas for the Municipal Council and the Executive Committee, facilitating meetings, documenting resolutions, and ensuring the official transmission of decisions to relevant departments.

  • Official Correspondence and Documentation: Managing the flow of incoming and outgoing documents in compliance with regulations and coordinating correspondence involving the Office of the Mayor.

  • Administrative Coordination: Ensuring consistent official communication and collaboration between municipal departments.

  • Human Resources Management: Maintaining and updating personnel records and monitoring legal processes regarding employees.

  • Social Services: Administering assistance programs for families of needy soldiers in accordance with applicable legislation.

  • Marriage Services: Managing the legal processes concerning civil marriage ceremonies within the municipality.

  • Legal Compliance and Reporting: Executing the directives of the Mayor in strict adherence to laws, bylaws, regulations, and circulars, and providing comprehensive reporting on these processes.
