Municipal Police Department
The Municipal Police Department is the primary enforcement unit responsible for maintaining public order, health, and peace within the municipality’s jurisdiction, carrying out inspection and enforcement duties within the authority granted by law.
Core Duties and Areas of Responsibility:
Municipal Police Services: Execution of all field inspections and enforcement activities aimed at maintaining public order and ensuring the welfare and health of the public.
Licensing and Inspection: Issuance of Business Opening and Operating Licenses, processing of GSM (Non-Sanitary Establishment) permits, and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Public Transportation and Parking: Inspection and coordination of public transportation vehicles and the regulation of parking services.
Zabıta Support Services: Management of operational processes and execution of administrative support activities required for the efficient delivery of municipal police services.
